Audree Kristine Ghigliotty, 79, Sebastian

Audree Kristine Ghigliotty, 79, of Sebastian and Long Beach Island, N.J., passed away in her home on Sept. 24.

She is survived by her loving husband, Henry; her sons Stephen of Toronto, Canada and David of Oahu, Hawaii; and her grandson David (D.J.) of Oahu, Hawaii; her sister Helen E. Compton of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and her two daughters, Cindy Compton of North Palm Beach and Diana Compton of Sunnyvale, Calif.

She was the second daughter born to Joseph and Evelyn Sprague of Beach Haven, N.J. and lived her entire life, up to 2014, on Long Beach Island, N.J. In 1951 she met Henry Ghigliotty, Jr. while attending Barnegat High School and they eloped in 1956. She also opened and ran an art and furniture gallery called “Southwest Designs” with her sister, Helen Compton.

She lived a productive, caring and happy life and was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.
