VERO BEACH — The Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach took 20 Youth Guidance kids fishing on the Lagoon on Aug. 6.
Thirty-seven Rotarians, spouses, kids, grandkids and friends with seven boats and pontoons spent a couple hours fishing, then stopped by Sunrise Rotary’s spoil island for a Lagoon education tour with the Environmental Learning Center’s Heather Stapleton after which they headed back to Round Island boat ramp for a Rotarian supplied picnic lunch.
