N. Gene Criss, 73, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Aug. 9, 2016.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia R. Criss; son Kenny Criss (Jill); two daughters, Angie Stalquist (Jacob), Charlotte Bireley (Christopher); and nine grandchildren: Kayla, Karis, Michael, Talan, K.C., Brody, Cru, Kersti and Conrad.
He was born Nov. 8, 1942, in Ethridge, Tenn. He relocated to Florida in 1963 to pursue a career in sales and later a 45-year career in aviation, manufacturing and consulting.
He loved spending time on the water fishing and having Sunday meals with his family.
Gene will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
