INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River Tea Party will sponsor a candidate forum for the August Primary election for School Board and County Commission races, all candidates have committed to attend.
The location for the forum is the Heritage Center on 14th Ave, Vero Beach. School Board candidates will start off the evening at 6 p.m. on Aug. 22, followed by participants in the three Commission races.
All events will be timed, each candidate answering the same Tea Party Board generated questions, followed by questions from the audience. An opening and closing statement from each candidate will round out the evening.
Those unable to attend can access a simulcast broadcast on WTTB, AM & FM, again starting at 6 p.m.
The Indian River Tea Party Board has sponsored these well attended, non-partisan forums for a number of years as a public information service to the community.
