Peggy Byrd, 82, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 14, 2016, at Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg, Ohio.
She is survived by three children, Richard (Mary) Lydick of Marietta, Ga., Robyn (Dave) Spurgeon of Sabina, Ohio, and Kenneth (Jeanne) Lydick of Elizbethton, Tenn.; sisters Patty Lydick of Tionesta, Pa., and Polly Houck of Sebastian; daughter-in-law Rita Lydick; sisters-in-law Debbie (Mike) Jones, Peggy Davis, and Darlinda Shepherd; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also left to cherish her memory are special friends Sandie Baker and family and Bonnie Kidder and family, all of Roseland, Fla.
Byrd was born April 26, 1934, in Clarksville, Ohio, to James Howard ‘Bud’ and Hazel Pearl Tolle Shepherd.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by sons, Steven Phillip and David Leroy Lydick; four brothers, Buddy, Frank, Thomas, and Michael Shepherd; and brothers-in-law Donald Lydick and Denver Houck.
Memorial contributions are requested to any PNC Bank in Peggy’s name to help cover funeral expenses.
