Sheila Parris-Bland, 63, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 10, 2016, under Hospice care at Indian River Medical Center after a prolonged illness.
She is survived by her husband Larry Bland; step-daughter Shawna Simmons (Ted); three granddaughters; and her siblings: Gary Parris (Bobbie), Jan Parris Humphrey, Peggy Parris Brown (Bill), Nancy Parris Smith, Lori Parris Morence (Anthony), Stephen Parris, Sharon Parris Johnson, Terry Parris (Holly) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ora Jackson, stepfather Norman Jackson, father Billy Parris and her sister Rose Parris Cunningham.
Parris-Bland was born May 31, 1953, in Gadsden, Ala., and moved to Vero Beach in 1960. She was a retired former business owner and Real Estate Agent.
She was passionate about many things with the most important to her being politics, her family and her friends.
