INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Major construction operations for the 34th Avenue/Airport Drive bridge over the main canal have begun.
Starting July 18, 34th Avenue will be closed from Atlantic Blvd to Dodger Road. The road will be re-opened February 2017. Motorists will be able to use bridges at 27th Avenue or 43rd Avenue as alternate routes to cross the main canal.
The work will be done by Engecon Construction, Inc.
