Ada Mazza, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on June 20, 2016. She was surrounded by family.
She is survived by her three sons, Fred (Susan) Mazza, John Mazza and Paul (Melissa) Mazza; her granddaughter Sarah Mazza; and step-brother Paul Blaine.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2009 and then moved to Vero Beach to resettle closer to family.
Mazza was born in Kansas City, Mo., and attended Grinnell College in Iowa. After moving to New York, she met her husband Santino and later settled in Hillsdale, N.J., where they raised their three sons.
She taught voice and piano and worked as a secretary until retiring in 1993 to Barefoot Bay. There she cultivated her love of art and became an accomplished watercolorist.
Mazza will be remembered as a warm, caring and wonderfully supportive wife and mother who always carried on her mid-western values and appreciation for everything and everyone in her life. She always saw the best in everyone and gave freely of herself until her last day.
