INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Bill Potter, a longtime attorney, civic benefactor and member of Florida Institute of Technology’s Board of Trustees, will speak about his extraordinary experiences as an international election supervisor for and military advisor to the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the 1990’s following that region’s brutal war and ensuing peace efforts.
Check-in starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by cocktails until 6:30 p.m. and dinner and Potter’s presentation at 7 p.m. The evening will conclude with a book signing from 8 to 9 p.m. featuring Potter’s 2005 book, “A Bosnian Diary: A Floridian’s Experience at Nation Building.”
The event will take place at the Hartley Room of the Denius Student Center on the Florida Tech campus, 150 W. University Blvd., Melbourne.
In addition to Bill Potter, Florida Institute of Technology Executive Vice President and COO T. Dwayne McCay will offer opening remarks.
