Lois A. Armfield, 100, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 18, 2016.
She is survived by her four children, Roger Armfield of Punta Gorda, Va., Anderson of Raymore, Mo., Peter Armfield of Vero Beach and Steve Armfield of Naples. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Armfield was born Dec. 30, 1915 in Rock County, Minn., and lived in Valley Springs, S.D. After graduating high school, she attended the Kansas City Art Institute.
She married the late Kenneth Armfield in 1936. They lived together in Kansas and also became seasonal residents of Fort Pierce beginning in 1952. She moved to Vero Beach in 1952 where she continued a lifelong interest in playing and listening to music and loved to paint.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations may be made to your local favorite charity of choice .
A small private family service is planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
