Georgiana Teacher Bailey, 66, Vero Beach

Georgiana Teacher Bailey, 66, of Vero Beach and Somerset, Penn., passed awa on March 15, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jim Bailey of Vero Beach; four children, Mike Ohler of Virginia, Tammy Hurst of West Palm Beach, Gary Bieniasz (Stephanie) of Edgewater, Md., and Jason Bailey of Greensburg, Penn.; sisters Sharon Zerfoss (Larry) of Somerset, Penn., and Wanda Szymanski (Frank) of Somerset, Penn.; brothers Doug Meyers (Beth) of Fairhope, Penn., and Roy Meyers, Jr. of Berlin, Penn.; brother-in-law Dick (Terry) Bailey of Vero Beach; sister-in-law Sandy (Tom) Walker of Latrobe, Penn.; mother-in-law Erma Bailey of Latrobe, Penn.; also a special cousin, Fred Teacher (Marge) from Indian Head, Penn.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Teacher and Alverda Colflesh Teacher and a brother, Mike Meyers.

Bailey was born on Sept. 18, 1949, in Greensburg, Penn. She owned Hi Tech Embroidery and Screen Printing in Somerset, Penn. She was the owner and operator of Sneakers Restaurant in Jennerstown, Penn.

She was a member of the First Church of God in Vero Beach. She enjoyed her morning coffee on her back porch where she enjoyed her flowers and was visited by the many birds, butterflies and lizards.

Bailey was a loving and caring person who touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The heart is never ready to say good-bye.

A celebration of her life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016 at The Trillium Clubhouse, 6555 Trillium Boulevard, Vero Beach, FL 32966. The family requests memorials in her memory to First Church of God, 1105 58th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL, 32966 or VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
