VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Art Club invites the public to free monthly demonstrations, usually held the first Thursday of each month, with the next one taking place on March 3.
The monthly socials begin with refreshments at 6:30 p.m. A brief meeting begins at 7 p.m. and is followed by the demonstration in the Vero Beach Museum of Art in the Leonhardt Auditorium.
This month the Art Club demonstration will take place Thursday March 3 with Judy Burgarella. Burgarella is known for her portrait skills, and teaches portraiture at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
She is an experienced demonstrator, muralist, plein air painter, teacher and art-blogger. She works in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor and sculpture. She holds memberships in the Vero Beach Art Club, Vero Beach Museum of Art, Plein Air Painters of the Treasure Coast, the Sebastian River Art Club and the Portrait Society of America.
