VERO BEACH — A mentally ill person is being interviewed after a suspected bank robbery Wednesday afternoon at Florida Community Bank.
There will be no robbery charges filed in this case, said Vero Beach Police Spokeswoman Ofc. Anna Carden. The subject was mentally ill, there was no note or weapon.
The bank is located at 4000 20th St., Vero Beach.
Officers arrived and the person was still inside the bank, according to Ofc. Carden. The scene was secure and no one was injured.
