INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Known for his captivating baritone voice and commanding presence, Grammy Award Nominated Wintley Phipps has performed at many notable events such as the National Prayer Breakfasts of six U.S. presidents, Rosa Park’s 77th Birthday gala at the Kennedy Center and the wedding ceremony of superstar, Diana Ross.
Moved by the work Camp Haven is doing for homeless men in the community, Phipps will show his support for the non-profit organization by performing at their upcoming annual fundraising gala on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016.
The dinner gala will be MC’d by radio personality, Rhett Palmer, and held at the Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach. Cocktails and hors d’ouvres will begin at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. The evening will also include guest speakers and entertainment by Ryan & the Rockers.
