Robert Bergeron, 79, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on Dec. 12, 2015.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Mary Valentin; his daughter and son-in-law Susan and Thomas Bombassei of Bristol, Conn.; his daughter and son-in-law Cyndi and Stephen Nance of Meridianville, Ala.; his son and daughter-in-law Robert and Sheri Bergeron of North Haven, Conn.; his six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Bergeron was born on March 5, 1936 in Hartford, Conn., to Edward and Ethel Bergeron. He retired from Cuno in Meriden, Conn., after 42 years of service. After retiring he moved to Vero Beach where he enjoyed fishing with his friends Bill, Butch, Carlo, Dan, and Rebel.
A private ceremony will be held with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
