Gloria T. Confort, 90, of Vero Beach and Manhasset, N.Y., passed away on Dec. 5, 2015.
She is survived by her step-daughter Susanne Confort Ostaseski of Melville, Long Island.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Confort, and her son Robert James Trent.
Confort was born April 5, 1925 to Norma and James Slattery. She ws a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and a member of Sands Point Golf Club, North Hempstead Golf Club and the John’s Island Club.
She was an avid golfer and bridge player and a supporter of many charities.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at 11: 15 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary located at 1300 Northern Boulevard, Manhasset, NY 11030.
Donations may be made in Mrs. Confort’s name to the North Shore Animal League, 25 Davis Avenue, Port Washington, NY 11050 or St. Francis Hosptial, 100 Port Washington Boulevard, Roslyn, NY 11576.
