Master’s Academy’s Austin Dean signs letter of intent

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Master’s Academy Patriots baseball program announces that Austin Dean has signed to play NCAA Division II baseball for Harding University in Arkansas next year.

Dean was honored and signed his letter of intent during halftime at the Patriots home basketball game on Monday evening, Nov. 16. This is the highest level college competition that a Master’s Academy baseball player has been offered.

The Master’s Academy baseball program currently has four former high school athletes playing college baseball for NJCAA, NAIA and NCAA Division III schools.

The Master’s Academy baseball team advanced to the final four FHSAA playoffs last season and has high expectations to repeat the performance again this coming spring.
