Senior Resource Association’s Silver Tones Chorus performs holiday concert Dec. 3

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Senior Resource Association’s Silver Tones Chorus will perform its annual holiday concert on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach.

Directed by Jacob Craig, director of music at First Presbyterian, Christmas Treasures will feature classic holiday songs like Silver Bells, Silent Night, Mary Did You Know and many more.

The Silver Tones Chorus was established in 2007 by The Senior Resource Association to give older adults a meaningful musical outlet that showcases their unique talents and provides a collective service to the community.

Now 90 voices strong, the senior chorus is generously sponsored by Kathie and Michael Pierce. The Silver Tones Chorus presents at least three community concerts throughout the year.

In addition to the Dec. 3 holiday concert, they will perform in 2016 on Feb. 25 and April 28 at First Presbyterian Church.

Concert tickets are $20 per person and include hors d’oeurves plus a 50/50 raffle drawing. All proceeds will benefit the Senior Resource Association to help provide nourishment, individualized care, information and referrals, and transportation to vulnerable seniors in Indian River County. SRA’s services could not exist without the generosity of private funding and donations.
