David Prange, 86, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 29, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patty; daughters Nancy Smith of Pompano Beach, Pam Prange of Vero Beach; Merrilu Poole (John) of Mims, Fla.; Jan Buetow (Steven) of Fort Lee, Va.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Howard, Bill, Dick and Ed Prange and his sister, Ruth Prange.
He graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1948, attended the University of Florida for three years and served in the Air Force for four years.
Prange worked in the citrus industry and owned his own groves. He also worked at Piper Aircraft Corp. for more than 25 years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 1150 41st Ave., Vero Beach, 32960, with visitation preceding the service at 10:30 a.m.
Donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Music Fund at the above address or to a charity of your choice. Please, no flowers. Prange sang in the church choir for more than 40 years and his parents were founding members of Grace Lutheran Church.
