Robert “Dan” Powell Sr., 72, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 20, 2015.
He is survived by Donna (Cook) Powell, his loving and devoted wife of 49 years; his awesome family Bob and Lisa Powell, Keith and Kim Powell; grandchildren Sara Isabella Powell, Ryan Daniel Powell, Ellie Marie Powell; his sister Dorothy Jean Grenier and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Rufus and Ruth Powell his sister Verne Bartolucci and his brothers Edwin Powell, Clayton Powell and Ralph Powell.
Powell was born in Vero Beach on March 5, 1943. He resided in Vero Beach, graduating Vero Beach High School Class of 1961.
Before his retirement, Powell worked as a Tool & Die maker in the aircraft division and was a supervisor in the citrus industry.
His family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. with the memorial service at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 at the Thomas Lowther Funeral Home, 1655 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
