INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Three pounds of marijuana and $830 was siezed from a vehicle passing through Gifford Sept. 28. Authorities released the information today.
Treville Ewar, 30, of Vero Beach, was arrested and faces charges including possession of marijuana over 20 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.
The drugs were found after a deputy stopped Ewar’s vehicle with expired tags, according to the facebook post. A strong odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle as he spoke to the suspect. A scale and plastic bags were also located in the car, indicative of items used in packaging and selling illegal drugs.
Ewar posted the $11,000 bond and was released pending his next court date on Nov. 9.
