Sebastian Clambake returns to Riverview Park Nov. 6-8

SEBASTIAN — Founded in 2002, the Sebastian Clambake Foundation organizes an annual festival to highlight life along the Indian River Lagoon. This year the event will take place Nov. 6-8 at Riverview Park in Sebastian.

Sebastian River Clambake Foundation has distributed more than $500,000 to many local deserving charitable organizations.

This three-day event has been held 11 times with the help of more than 600 volunteers each year. The foundation is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. A few of the membership organizations responsible for choosing the beneficiaries are: Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Sebastian Elk’s Club, Sebastian River High School Crew and Athletic Boosters, Sebastian Property Owners Association, Kashi, GFWC Sebastian Junior Woman’s Club, Treasure Coast Rugby Foundation and Sebastian Soccer Association.

The Sebastian Clambake and Lagoon Festival is an admission free, family fun-filled event featuring many food booths, craft vendors, entertainment, the Kids Zone and live music throughout the entire weekend. Tickets are purchased for food and event t-shirts.
