VERO BEACH — “Dining with Democrats” will be held on Monday, June 22, at the Grille on the Green café located on the grounds of Vista Royale in Vero Beach. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with drinks and conversation followed with dinner at 6 p.m. and a program at 7 p.m. featuring guest speaker, Dr. Richard Baker, President of the Pelican Island Audubon Society and founder of the new Audubon House. Dr. Baker will talk about the background of the Audubon House and the important role that it plays in the community.
Cost for the evening is $20 per person and includes dinner and the program. There are two dinner selections: Roasted Chicken Breast with vegetables and roasted red potatoes; and for vegetarians, Roasted Stuffed Bell Peppers. Reservations are needed for an accurate food count. There will also be a cash bar available at the restaurant.
