Camp Haven helps homeless, reduces carbon footprint

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — To celebrate Earth Day, Camp Haven planted several fruit trees on its shelter grounds, in front of the large earth-friendly hydroponic garden that already greets visitors as they drive on to the campus.

The purchase of these trees was made possible by a recent donation from Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program, Inc., who has been an ongoing supporter of Camp Haven’s mission to help area homeless and at-risk men in Indian River County.
