SEBASTIAN — Indian River County Fire Rescue and Sebastian Police responded to the scene of a duplex apartment fire overnight on S. Wimbrow Drive.
The American Red Cross and that State Fire Marshal were also called to the scene. Two adults were displaced, according to reports heard over the police scanner. The Red Cross provided assistance to the victims of the fire.
The fire broke out in a garage around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The first to arrive on scene reported flames coming through the roof. Fire Rescue had the fire knocked down by 2 a.m.
Florida Power and Light was called to the scene to cut off power to the duplex. The State Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
