VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Lifeguard Association’s lifeguard competition team will be scrimmaging the Canadian National Lifeguard Team on Friday, May 1, at 5:30 p.m. at South Beach Park in Vero Beach.
Todd Rapp, team captain, has put together a few events to prepare his team for the upcoming regional and national lifeguard competitions to be held this summer.
The team is made up of lifeguards from Indian River County, John’s Island and the City of Vero Beach.
