VERO BEACH — The local live music duo “JUST ME 2” will be donating a two hour performance for The Salvation Army of Indian River County’s “Soup, Soap and Salvation” benefit dinner on Saturday, April 11, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at The Oak Harbor Country Club in Vero Beach.
The former Major League Baseball Star and Pastor of Strawberry Ministries, Darryl Strawberry, will be the keynote speaker. The event will begin at 5 p.m. with light hors d’oeuvres and cocktails from the cash bar. A Surf and Turf dinner will be served, followed by Strawberry sharing his inspirational journey and mission, “Restoring Lives & Relationships.”
Tom and Cheryl O’Neill form the musical duo, “Just Me 2.” Tom sings the standards and plays saxophones, clarinet and keyboard along with big swing band and small jazz combo arrangements. Cheryl sings well-known tunes, ranging from the Great American Songbook up to The Carpenters, Barbra, Bublé and Celine. They may be contacted at (772) 532-5054 for booking engagements.
