Navy SEAL museum holds team challenge at Riverside Cafe April 18

VERO BEACH — The Navy SEALs invite the public to “test your endurance” on Saturday April 18, 2015 at the Riverside Cafe in Vero Beach. This is a team event; teams are comprised of five members and one member must be of the opposite sex, i.e. four males and one female or four females and one male.

“Last year the participant portion of the challenge completely sold out capping at 50 applicants,” said Rick Kaiser, Master Chief SEAL (Ret.) and executive director of the museum. “It’s one thing to complete this race as an individual, it is a whole different animal to complete it as a team. The Bridge will test you both physically and mentally. Expect surprises. ” Kaiser added.

Team registration fee is $250.

There are no apparel requirements, however, participants should keep in mind they will have to run, swim, climb and paddle. Participants must be 18 years or older.

In order to register, go to the museum website www.navysealmuseum.org and fill out application and waivers. For questions, call the museum at (772) 595-5845, ask for Rick, Ken or Lisa. Each participant must complete a waiver and release form.

Individual applications will be collected for persons who do not have a team. There are no guarantees and no money collected up front for individuals. Individuals will be notified prior to race if there is room.

Paperwork and $250 registration fee must be received by 12 p.m. on Wednesday April 15, 2015.
