Revelers, festooned in Kelly green and shimmering shamrocks, lined Ocean Drive to cheer on the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Short but sweet, the route ran from Flamevine to Azalea, past the bustling Saturday morning Farmers Market and in front of Vero’s popular beachside establishments.
The parade was led by Grand Marshals Nancy and Bill Curtis, St. Patrick himself, aka John Michael Matthews, and Betty Hasko as a spry leprechaun.
A book signing with Irish author Ann O’Farrell closed out the festivities at Irish Treasures, whose owner Betty Cochrane chaired the parade.
