Charles Marion ‘Andy’ Anderson, 79, of Winter Beach, Indian River County passed away at his home on March 8, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janet Walker Anderson of Winter Beach; daughters Jill Anderson Vaughn (Tommy) of Buna, Texas and Jerri Anderson of Winter Beach; granddaughter Logan Vaughn of Buna, Texas; and sisters Mary Lou Hamilton (Bobby) of Winter Beach and Virginia Monteith of Quitman, Ga.
Anderson was born in Winter Beach and has been a life time resident of Winter Beach. He was a graduate of Vero Beach High School Class of 1953. Anderson was a veteran having served in the United States Army. He worked for Florida Power and Light for 40 years before his retirement in 1993. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winter Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sunshine Physical Therapy Center, 1705 17th Ave. Vero Beach, FL 32960. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March, 11, 2015 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
