SEBASTIAN — “Rick Steves’ Florence” will be shown by the Friends of the North Indian River County Library on Thursday, March 12, from 3 to 4 p.m. in the library meeting room.
Florence is a treasure-trove of sculpture, architecture, and painting. Rick Steves visits many of those treasures, as well as a modern-day art community that thrives in Florence. He also travels to Pisa and Lucca, the birthplace of Puccini, noting the particular cuisine, architecture and cultural heritage in each location.
Admission is free and open to the public. The library is located at 1001 Sebastian Boulevard, three miles west of U.S. 1. For more information call the Library at (772) 589-1355.
