Fellsmere man arrested for peeking in stranger’s window

FELLSMERE — A man was leaving his shed when he discovered a stranger staring through his bathroom window, watching a female inside who had just stepped out of the shower, according to police. The man then confronted the onlooker and held him until police arrived.

Ivan Guadalupe, 23, of the 200 block of South Broadway Street in Fellsmere, now faces one charge of trespassing and one charge of voyeurism in connection to the incident.

According to the arrest report, Guadalupe told police he noticed “a naked female” through an uncovered window, removed and concealed his own yellow shirt to “blend in better” with the darkness, and leaned up against the window to look inside.

He said he watched the woman for approximately one minute before he was discovered.

Guadalupe is currently being held on $5,000 bond.
