VERO BEACH — The Exchange Club of the Treasure Coast’s history of giving back to Indian River community agencies continues with its first Champions for Charity Golf Tournament, Feb. 28, 2015 at Sandridge Golf Club.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit SafeSpace and other local charities. SafeSpace provides a 24 hour domestic violence hotline and emergency shelters in Vero Beach. They support victims of domestic violence with legal and courtroom advocacy. Past and current beneficiaries include Youth Guidance, Dogs for Life and Boys and Girls Club.
This event will be a scramble format with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded for low team score, longest drive(s) and closest to pin(s). Lunch and tee prizes will be included in the $100 entry fee for players. Additionally, participants can enter a 50/50 drawing, play poker and purchase Mulligans to add fun and excitement to the event.

Exchange Club of the Treasure Coast meets the first and third Thursdays at noon. Members donate time and money to organizations that help support our four pillars: Prevention of Child Abuse, Americanism, Community Service and Youth Programs.
