Humane Society hosts ‘Breed and Behavior’ talk Jan. 29

VERO BEACH — With talk of breed restrictions in housing, breed bans and breed specific legislation in communities across the country, what role does a dog’s breed truly play in determining his or her temperament?

Join the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County on Thursday, Jan. 29, from 12 to 1 p.m., as canine behavior assessor and dog trainer Jason Jarman discusses the latest information on dog breeds and how they may or may not impact behavior.

This program is excellent for property managers, insurance representatives and families interested in adopting a dog.
