Fred “Felton” Norris, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away at his home in Vero Beach on Jan. 19, 2015.
He is survived by his wife Gail Beveridge Norris of Vero Beach; son David Norris (Marsha) of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter Brenda Norris of Greensboro, N.C.; grandson Brandon Hyde (Lorrel) of Greensboro, N.C.; and great-grandson Jackson Hyde of Greensboro, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 52 years Loretta Bernstein Norris.
Norris was born in Charlotte, N.C., and lived in Vero Beach for 16 years coming from Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and worked for 43 years in the Textile Industry.

A Memorial Celebration will be held Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at 4 p.m., at the Plaza, 884 17th Street, Vero Beach. A reception including a light buffet and cocktails will immediately follow the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
