50th anniversary for Harvest Festival came with rain

The 50th anniversary of the St. Helen’s Harvest Festival began without a hitch but got a bit soggy over the weekend.

Die-hard festival goers took it in stride, running through the rain drops to enjoy old-fashioned family fun at Historic Dodgertown.

Hundreds of St. Helen’s parishioners and friends joined with Deggeller Attractions of Stuart to serve up carnival rides and midway games, Christmas gift ideas at the Lady Bug Boutique, and, of course, copious amounts of great festival food – fried Oreos anyone?

Proceeds help fund education and community outreach programs at St. Helen Catholic Church.
