Marilyn, Buich, 78, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 5, 2014, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She is survived by her sons, Joe Archbald and Jim Archbald; daughter, Sue Barber; brother Robert Fluck; and grandson Joe Archbald.
Buich was born in Bethlehem, Penn., and lived in Vero Beach for 18 years coming from Williamstown, N.J. She moved to Vero Beach because of her love for the beach.
She graduated from the St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. She also earned degrees from Antioch University, Philadelphia, Penn., St. Charles University, Philadelphia, Penn., and attended Widener University, Chester, Penn.
She worked as a Registered Oncology Nurse for 30 years before her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the American Nurses Association. Buich was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She volunteered nursing care and counseling to homeless men and women living in shelters and on the street in Philadelphia, Penn., and Indian River County.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 in Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach. Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
