Blue Cypress Bluegrass Band to perform Nov. 1

SEBASTIAN — The Blue Cypress Bluegrass Band, formerly known as the Heritage Bluegrass Band, will perform at the Library Coffee House on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 7-9 p.m. at the North Indian River County Library in Sebastian. They play traditional bluegrass and country on all acoustical musical instruments.

The band plays traditional-style bluegrass and old-time country music, and upon request, will play old gospel hymns too.

Band members include Alan Rudd on upright bass, Bill Hare on banjo/guitar/vocal, and Tim Lynch on guitar, mandolin/vocal, with others joining when available. The band has been playing together for the past 15 years. They have been providing a service to the community at the Heritage Center in Vero Beach for the past 10 years, renting the historic building in order to provide a free bluegrass show for the public.

The North Indian River County Library is located at 1001 Sebastian Boulevard three miles west of U.S. 1 in Sebastian. For more information please call the Library at (772) 589-1355.
