Helen Dundon, 80, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 2, 2014, at the Indian River Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas R. Dundon; daughter Molly Leighton; sons Dr. Thomas (Linda) Dundon, Mark (Anne) Dundon and Sean (Patti) Dundon; and nine grandchildren.
She was a native of Youngstown, Ohio. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio, before moving to Vero Beach.
Dundon was a high school teacher. She later owned and operated her own ladies boutique. She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 5-7 p.m. at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 1950 20th St. Vero Beach. A vigil service will follow at 7 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in the Chapel, 7550 26th St, Vero Beach, FL 32966.
