INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Source Thrift Shop is delighted to announce the appointment of their new Thrift Shop Manager, Donna McCall.
Donna is a skilled professional with years of experience in hospitality and has a passion to serve those less fortunate. Please join us in welcoming Donna and wishing her the best with this important assignment.
“I look forward to serving our customers and engaging with this great community,” said Donna.
The Source Thrift Shop offers every day discounts and specials that are hard to beat, with an assortment of clothing, accessories, jewelry, toys, home décor, music, books and more.
The store is an integral part of the mission of The Source, which is the only drop-in outreach ministry in Indian River County that serves as a cold weather shelter, opens six days a week, provides hot meals, emergency food boxes, clothing, basic hygiene items, showers and laundering facilities, mail and phone services, job readiness programs, cooperative community agency referrals, and instills a restorative hope in the saving faith of Jesus Christ. Revenue from the thrift shop directly benefits The Source who in turn gives back to our community.
“We bring a unique service to our community by providing household goods to families who are struggling to make ends meet and have little left over to purchase beds, appliances, strollers, etc… that is what sets us apart from other thrift shops and retailers,” said Aggie Sydnor, The Source Operations Director.
Customers can find a bargain, donate gently-used goods or contribute to special campaigns. We provide free pick-up for furniture and larger items. All donations are tax-deductible.
The store is located at 1239 16th St., Vero Beach, and hours are: Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
