SunUp ARC receives grant from Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Board of the Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program, Inc. and the Philanthropy Committee selected SunUp ARC as a 2014 Community Partner. SunUp ARC was awarded a grant to replace two air-conditioning units at their east campus. “SunUp ARC is to be congratulated for the tremendous job you’ve done over the many years in providing for so many disabled individuals in need and in such an effective way,” reads the letter announcing SunUp ARC had been awarded the grant.

SunUp ARC would like to thank the Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program, Inc., the Philanthropy Committee, the Grand Harbor residents and corporate sponsors for being such a caring community that gives back to the non-profit organizations in Indian River County.

With the economy and state cutbacks, most non-profits struggle to get ahead. Grants awarded by organizations such as these are what make a huge difference not only in the day to day operations, but also in the future of many.

SunUp ARC is a Non-Profit, 501 (c) 3 agency, dedicated to meeting the needs of people with developmental disabilities in Indian River County and is a United Way partner agency.
