INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A benefit for the families of both Timothy Bragg and Frederick Brubaker is scheduled for July 20 at the Moose Lodge in Vero Beach, according to Pam Smith Rudd.
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Timothy Bragg, 46, of Vero Beach, has been identified as the second victim of the May 23 RV fire, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
The cause of the fire that also claimed the life of 41-year-old Frederick Brubaker and killed a dog is still unknown and remains under investigation led by the state fire marshal.
Reported first by neighbors who observed the RV in flames in the backyard of a residence at 2605 52nd Ave., the vehicle was completed engulfed in flames, the roof collapsed, and the fire was spreading to other parts of the yard by the time the fire department arrived on scene.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — One of two victims who died in a travel trailer fire near Vero Beach last week has been identified.
Frederick Brubaker, 41, of Vero Beach, has been identified as one of the victims, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
The second victim has not been positively identified, but DNA samples have been submitted and are being processed through the Indian River State Crime Laboratory, according to authorities.
The cause of the fire is still being identified by the State Fire Marshall.

May 23: INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Two people have been confirmed dead after a travel trailer fire was discovered, according to Asst. Fire Chief Brian Burkeen.
The cause of the fire at 2605 52nd Ave., near the intersection of 26th Street and 56th Avenue, is unknown.
The state fire marshal is currently on scene investigating.
“Nothing will be known for hours,” said Indian River Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Sgt. Eric Flowers.
