INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Saturday, March 29, was a busy day of spring cleaning in the community of Arbor Trace in Vero Beach. More than 25 families contributed items to Homeless Family Center’s “A Second Chance Thrift Store and Training Center.”
The store’s donation truck was parked in the community and about 25 families contributed household items, adult and kids clothing, furniture, toys, and even a nice dryer.
Additionally, there were four pickups made in the community for larger items. The truck was filled to the brim.
Homeless Family Center Board President Roger Sobkowiak coordinated the donation collection. A special thank you goes out to the residents and HOA of Arbor Trace for their support and contributions. This is the second donation drive held in Arbor Trace to benefit Homeless Family Center.
