VERO BEACH — A man reportedly died on the ocean shore of Vero Beach Thursday evening, according to Ofc. John Morrison, Vero Beach Police Department spokesman.
The victim was found on the shore’s edge 100 feet near the Spindrift Condominium south of Flamevine Lane, Vero Beach, according to authorities. Chest compressions continued until fire rescue arrived. Time of death was pronounced at 8:51 p.m.
A woman called in the incident to 911. The victim, who has not been identified, was 86 years old.
