Children’s Home Society hosts golf tourney Feb. 20

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Each year, Children’s Home Society of Florida helps more than 12,000 children and family members along the Treasure Coast. As guests enjoy a fun-filled day of golf and cocktails, their support will help Children’s Home Society of Florida continue to protect more children from the tragedies of abuse and neglect, heal the pain of those who have suffered, guide teens to transition successfully into adulthood and create and strengthen families in our community.

The Champions for Children Golf Tournament and Cocktail Reception is the premier fundraising event that benefits Children’s Home Society of Florida along the Treasure Coast. It will be held Thursday, Feb. 20, with registration and lunch at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Guest will enjoy a day of golf followed by an evening of cocktails, silent wine auction and a live auction, chance to bid and win a custom golf card and a special key that will open a Specialty Cabinet filled with your favorite wines and liquors.

Golf and reception are $350 per person ($208 is tax deductible); Golf only is $250 ($178 is tax deductible). The Cocktail Reception $100 ($30 is tax deductible).

The fundraiser will be held at the Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club, 4985 Club Terrace, Vero Beach.
