INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute Foundation (HBOIF) recently partnered with PNC Bank to host the “Luncheon on the Lagoon” in Vero Beach.
Over 200 people, including local, state and federal lawmakers, HBOIF board members and local residents, attended the complimentary luncheon at Quail Valley River Club on Jan. 24, which featured guest speaker Nathanial Reed.
The “Luncheon on the Lagoon” is part of a series of lagoon-based events hosted by FAU’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute in partnership with HBOIF which include the “Indian River Lagoon Symposium,” “Meet the Scientists” poster session, “Public Meeting on Lagoon Health” and the “Love Your Lagoon” dinner.
These remaining events will take place Feb. 6 and 7 on the Harbor Branch campus.
