(William G) Cilingin and their children John, Jennifer, Kara, Michael, and Dawn; and daughter Denise L. Coles and her son Stephen. He is also survived by his brother Joseph F. Peters. Peters and his wife of 56 years, Nancy L., resided in Bucks County, Penn., until 2004 when they relocated to Orchid Island. Peters was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He attended Spring Garden Institute for a heating and air conditioning technical course under the G.I. Bill. He was the owner of Peters Associates LTD and HVAC business that served the tri-county area. He retired in 2000.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His happiest memories were those times spent with his family. Throughout his life Peters pursued many interests including boating, piloting his own aircraft, golfing, motorcycling, skiing, cooking and traveling.
While residing in Indian River County, Peters volunteered with Meals on Wheels. With the help of State Rep. Debbie Mayfield, he was instrumental in removing unnecessary signage, which detracted from the natural beauty of the environment, on the Wabasso Causeway and US 1 North to Sebastian.
A Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, in Sebastian.
