Sebastian Police need tips to ID burglary suspect

SEBASTIAN — Sebastian Police are looking for tips to identify a burglary suspect, according to authorities.

The Sebastian Police Department is hoping someone can identify the one subject due to his unique hair, a widow’s peak, and eye brows, said Officer Steve Marcinik. The reason they are looking for more tips is because their initial witness recanted.

Police are investigating a burglary that took place during the overnight hours of Dec. 23 to Dec. 24, 2013, according to the department’s post on facebook, http://ow.ly/sS4fo.

The suspects entered an unlocked vehicle that was in the victim’s garage.

A wallet containing credit cards, a Home Depot card, Costa Delmar sunglasses, and $470 in cash, was taken, according to police.

On Dec. 24, 2013, around 6 a.m., three unknown suspects were seen on surveillance video attempting to use the victim’s debit card at an ATM on Roseland Road, according to authorities. All the suspects appear to be young white males.

The suspects covered their faces with t-shirts while attempting the transactions, according to police.
