INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Pamela Reiner, RN, LMHC, Certified Matchmaker of Match Well Made, has established a scholarship fund for women through the Indian River State College Foundation in honor of her mother, Marlene Pharr.
It is Mrs. Reiner’s intent to offer assistance to motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors at IRSC. This desire has grown from her experiences being raised in a single family home with her mother and two brothers.
“The focus of this scholarship is to lend a helping hand, which in turn, helps our society as a whole,” said Reiner.
The Match Well Made Scholarship Fund will assist young women and single mothers re-entering college at IRSC. Preference will be given to those who are actively involved in community service.
