Jared Horton “Jed” Luviano, 57, died unexpectedly Dec. 28, 2013, at his home in Vero Beach.
Luviano was born in Yonkers, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 15 years, coming from Abington, Penn.
He was a graduate of Abington High School, Abington, Penn., and attended Biscayne College, Miami.
Luviano was the co-owner of the former American Bar and Grill along with his wife, Cindy and mother-in-law, Babe in Vero Beach, and A Step Above Photos, also in Vero Beach.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach, where he served as a Eucharistic minister.
Luviano was a 3rd Degree Knight, Knights of Columbus Holy Cross Council #12141.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Cindy Luviano, of Vero Beach; daughter, Kristin Michelle Luviano, of Washington, D.C.; mother, Patricia Luviano, of Vero Beach; mother-in-law, Edith “Babe” Hulton, of Vero Beach; uncles, George Horton and Robert Horton, both of Vero Beach; brother, John Luviano, Jr. (Phyllis), of Glenside, Penn.; sisters, Dona Brookreson (David), of Huntingdon Valley, Penn., Sara Carey (Chris), of Brentwood, Calif., and Mary Barnes (Greg), of Vero Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Luviano was preceded in death by his father, John Luviano Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Horsham, Penn.
